The whole cast filmed outside the Sydney Opera House today with cameos from Ita Buttrose, Amanda Keller and Brendan Jones, in front of a big crowd. According to The Daily Telegraph, a top-secret wedding will be filmed at Bennelong Point on Tuesday, before the cast and crew move to Manly’s Shelly Beach for the seaside reception scenes. Filming moves to Melbourne on Thursday, including a cameo with Matt Preston and an appearance on The Project; before filming a special episode of All Star Family Feud with Grant Denyer on Friday.
Is the girl that used to be Neighbours still on Bold and the Beautiful?
Yes, Ashleigh Brewer is still on the show and she’s one of the cast members who has come to Australia.
I’d say she is probably central to the Australian storylines since she plays patriarch Eric Forrester’s niece Ivy and his brother (her father) supposedly has/had been living in Australia for decades.
I believe Ch 10 trialled B&B in prime-time over summer around 8 years ago (2008-2009), temporarily removing The Simpsons at 6pm.
But it didn’t work.
Perhaps they could try it again when the Australia filmed eps air here, heavily promote it & it might rate fairly well?
No it won’t. Just leave it as it is. Those Aussie episodes could boost the news, which needs all the help it can get right now.
Maybe they can repeat these special episodes late at night. Like 10.30pm
Ashleigh joined the show in 2014 but last year in the show her character moved back to Australia in January US episodes and returned to the show in August US episodes. During that break from the show Ashleigh spent many months living back here in Australia. As @JBar mentioned l think she will have a pivotal storyline in these Australian episodes.
