Kristy, Brett, Leah and Ash were on TikTok live the other night a bit drunk and had some very interesting things to say about the show lol.
I think they were out of their contract.
Do tell. I do find it concerning they come up on your tik tok though.
The algorithm is listening it to the MediaSpy forums then
Couldn’t find more toxic contestant than those four. They were just awful humans.
They are. And their NDA expired.
They’ve been ‘predicting’ the results each week and have been bang on. Talking to the way the show is structured for drama / viewing habits etc.
I think Leah & Ash are still under contract so they were not saying nothing but nodding etc
Yeh I was referring to Kristy and Brett.
EPISODE 18
Kylie hasn’t woken up in a better mood after she threatened to leave when she thought Ronnie and Georgia were to replace her friends Jesse and Paige on The Block.
She makes it clear she isn’t going to welcome the new contestants, Sydney sisters Maddy and Charlotte, with welcome arms. The sisters, who are 24 and 22, arrive on The Block from Sydney after 24 hours notice.
They are actually very experienced renovators, which they will keep secret from the other contestants. The opportunity was too good to miss and they upended their busy lives where they flip houses professionally for the opportunity to be on The Block.
They get straight to work and are thrown in the deep end after arriving on The Block, building a master bedroom and walk-in-robe.
News spreads around The Block that they have arrived and one by one they are greeted by the other contestants, however Kylie barely makes an effort. Kylie calls her mum and she complains about Maddy and Charlotte and thinks that they will get special treatment.
A challenge is called and our Blockheads - all except Grant - head to the Clay & Co gallery for this week’s challenge. Scotty isn’t happy that Grant - whose nickname is now Grumpy - decided to stay back at The Block to work and not participate in the challenge. Courtney is in tears as Scotty tells them off.
The contestants have to build a paper mache lamp to store in their main bedrooms, and surprisingly, Ricky and Haydn take it out.
YOUNGEST TEAM EVER TO JOIN THE BLOCK
THE BLOCK CONTINUES TONIGHT AT 7.30PM ON CHANNEL 9 AND 9NOW
It’s the decision that rocked The Block. As one couple left, another couple entered in an emotional change of hands that continues tonight at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Engaged couple from WA, Jesse and Paige, have made the brave decision to leave The Block in order to prioritise their mental health. The remaining contestants are heartbroken but supportive of their decision to leave.
In a Block first, a new couple will join the show five weeks into filming to continue the build on House 1. They got the call, dropped everything, and moved to Phillip Island in a matter of days.
“Since we can remember we’ve grown up watching The Block with our family, and as kids we dreamed about maybe one day being contestants,” the girls said. “We feel very grateful for the opportunity.”
They may be the youngest team in the history of the show, but they are also among the most experienced contestants when it comes to renovations.
While working in accounting and multiple odd jobs, such as babysitting, tutoring, shifts at McDonald’s, and piano teaching, they realised their real passion was for renovating and saved their hard-earned cash to put towards the purchase of a fixer-upper, a shack in Newcastle, when they were 21 and 19 respectively.
“It has taken a lot of sacrifices to get where we are,” Maddy said. “I think our generation believe things come easy, but there is nothing that has come easy with what we have done and achieved.”
The shack in Newcastle has since been renovated, subdivided, and sold in 2022. They now have multiple builds on the go, with more planned, while still juggling their odd jobs and working in the family business.
“Our goal is to create a beautiful home that’s welcoming, warm, comfortable and a special place for families to make precious memories,” Charlotte said. “We hope to grow as individuals, push ourselves to our absolute limits, and inspire young people who may also want to pursue a dream or do something very different.”
“We are anticipating the challenges and stresses that are about to come,” Maddy said. “I have no doubt we will struggle and be pushed far out of our comfort zone.”
The girls owe it to watching The Block for the inspiration to become renovators, builders and entrepreneurs in their own right – so watch them go at it!
Episode 19
Our new contestants Maddy and Charlotte are in all sorts of pain as they struggle with the reality of The Block. Their biggest issue is keeping trades, including their plasterers, who already have working relationships with other contestants including Kristian and Mimi.
Maddy and Charlotte are also struggling working with builder Zac, who had a strong bond with Jesse and Paige who just left a few days ago. The sisters are also intimidated by Zac, and there are a few tears as they struggle to figure out what to do.
Maddy and Charlotte struggle to lock in a plasterer and have issues with that all day.
Scotty and Shelley do their weekly walkarounds and Grant gets a stern talking to after not going to the challenge. His reward (punishment) is he has to go on a party bus with Kylie, Maddy, Mimi and Haydn to Freedom where they have a mini bed making challenge.
Kylie wins and takes out the $5000 cash prize. The trip keeps them away from The Block which Grumpy isn’t happy about.
Back at The Block, Maddy and Charlotte’s plaster woes continue and if they don’t find an urgent plasterer on the Saturday before tool’s down, they will struggle to deliver their main bedroom and walk-in-robe.
But the sisters are very determined, and it would be silly to count them out of the week just yet.
Just catching on on the eps. Oh how relateable 2 sisters in their early 20s who are house flippes. But they said they’re from a tradie family and then said their dad works in finance. so the mum is the tradie? oh and don’t forget they worked at Mcdonalds for their first house deposit.
What’s the real story?
Episode 20
It’s been an absolute whirlwind of a few days for Sydney sisters Maddy and Charlotte, who joined The Block after Jesse and Paige left. The youngest ever contestants on The Block have had a baptism of fire, and this includes securing trades.
They have struggled to get a plasterer to finish their main bedroom, but on the Saturday before “tool’s down,” they finally manage to secure one from other houses.
Kylie is going bold this week in the form of copper Grafico wallpaper on the roof of their main bedroom. But will the judges love it? That’s the big question.
Courtney and Grant have gone massive and big with their Moditteranan styled main bedroom and walk-in-robe, so much so Foreman Dan thinks it’s too much. But they love it.
Scott calls “tool’s down,” and one team - Ricky and Haydn - disappointingly didn’t quite finish.
House No.1 Maddy and Charlotte spent $22,536
The judges were very impressed with what the girls delivered considering they had only been on The Block for a few days. They loved the Hardie Groove paneling. They also noted the style difference compared to Jesse and Paige’s Modern Colonial style, but they think both styles will work together. A very good effort for week one and considering the situation.
House No.2 Courtney and Grant spent $27,637
The unique style of Courtney and Grant was a real hit with the judges. While there is a lot going on with the main bedroom and walk-in-robe, it really works. Marty loved it so much he said he wants to ask Channel 9 if he can bid on the house.
House No.3 Ricky and Haydn spent $25,406
The judges loved the Phillip Island coastal style of the bedroom and the walk-in-robe and it was heading in the right direction, but a shame the boys couldn’t quite finish. They were really impressed with the Kinsman walk-in-wardrobe, but the boys have to work on their time management as the build progresses.
House No.4 Kylie and Brad spent $18,597
Finally the judges think Kylie and Brad have well and truly hit their stride. Darren just loved everything about this room, in his mind it’s exactly what Kylie and Brad should be doing. The dark and moodiness styling was on point.
House No.5 Kristian and Mimi spent $19,569
Initial first impressions this room took the judges breath away, another fantastic effort by Kristian and Mimi. A few functionality issues - such as the positioning of the bed side table lights - but overall a very successful main bedroom. They loved the opulence of the Kinsman walk-in-robe.
A close week of judging, and once again Kylie and Brad didn’t play their bonus penguin which would have seen them take out the win.

I can’t help but roll my eyes everytime I hear the judges mention “the buyer”
We all know Adrian will dominate and he prioritises the most popular couple followed by the rooms.
The way he’s going at the moment with people waking up and realizing his lotto website is just a sham he might only buy one or two. He might not even think the location is worth it.
Episode 21
It’s kitchen week on The Block, which is always a huge week for our Blockheads.
At the Domain Open for inspections Grant isn’t happy about losing again to Kristian and Mimi and he and Courtney’s main bedroom should have won. All the contestants notice that Maddy and Charlotte, who replaced Jesse and Paige, will be a real threat as they did so well for their first week on the show.
A challenge is called and Kyal and Kara, two of The Block’s favourite All Stars, meet the contestants at the Woolamai Surf Club.
The teams are split into two. Courtney and Grant, Kristian and Mimi and Maddy and Charlotte on one team, and Kyal and Kara, Ricky and Haydn and Kylie and Brad on the other team. They have to renovate part of the Surf Club with Foreman Keith running the challenge.
It’s Maddy’s birthday and she is turning 25, but she notices none of the cast say hello and her and Charlotte are feeling like they are getting the cold shoulder.
Grant and Foreman Dan have another blow up, this time as Dan accuses Grant of over ordering Gyprock. Grant points out he thinks every other team has done the same thing. They have some heated words.
Keith is very annoyed at team Courtney and Grant, Kristian and Mimi and Maddy and Charlotte, who are not putting enough effort into the challenge.
I get the feeling Jesse and Paige’s builders don’t like being told what to do by two younger females and want to leave but don’t want to ruin their names and businesses in the process
Most of the builders this season seem to be knobheads. So rude and arrogant all the time.
The Block though has become so incestuous with much of the case made up of prior cast/builders/tradies from prior seasons.
Episode 22
Maddy and Charlotte have only been at The Block for seven days and it has been a very tough baptism of fire.
They are clashing with their builder Zac, who was close with Jesse and Paige. It doesn’t help after Maddy and Charlotte bring their carpenter from their business at home, Jack, to help with the build.
Ricky and Haydn have loved working with former Block contestant Duncan Miller so much, they take him out to dinner on Phillip Island and ask him to join their team permanently. Thankfully for them, he accepted the job.
Keith returns to The Block and has a crack at Kristian and Mimi, Courtney and Grant and Maddy and Charlotte for not putting enough effort into the challenge.
Charlotte has a huge confrontation with their builder Zac, he accuses her of ignoring him and treating him like a glorified labourer. She is in tears and feeling overwhelmed as she tries to defend herself. Zac leaves for the day and tells Charlotte he wants a change of attitude, coming across somewhat aggressive.
The next day he arrives and has it out with both Maddy and Charlotte, who defend themselves. It’s a back and forth argument and it becomes clear that the working relationship is coming to an end. There are too many clashes and Zac walks out.
The sisters ask Kyal to be their permanent builder and he is keen, but has to try and work things out at home so he promises to get back to them.
The other contestants hear word of this and they aren’t happy, they think it’s an unfair advantage for Maddy and Charlotte.
More evidence that the sisters from New South Wales are on the outer.
