Well she didn’t say that on the Project so was curious about that. But if she says she is in love she obviously is with someone, well hopefully.
Really enjoyed this. Such a hoot.
First time watching the opening episode to The Bachelor/Bachelorette, I found it quite entertaining. Sophie is such a likeable Character, any network would be clever to sign her as Network talent, you could easily build a show around her.
I found the editing strange, do they normally exclude a large number of the arrivals, those whose arrival doesn’t get shown must leave early I assume.
I know Survivor is edited from the Finale back to episode one, does anyone know if The Bachelor(ette) does the same ?
Pretty sure he’s the one she dumped last night too, so age musn’t be a huge factor for her.
Last night’s episode was great. I always go into the Bachelorette thinking that there won’t be as much drama with guys but we have a few douches in the mix to keep it entertaining. The whole cocktail party though had a completely different vibe to anything we’ve seen before. I loved how Sophie did lots of group chats and games rather than just one on ones. It was a lot of fun to watch. That Jarrod guy is a complete nutter. I’m not sure why she kept him.
Sophie also was amazing. Hands down the best Bachelor or Bachelorette we’ve had in Australia. This season has a different vibe to any other we’ve had. She seems genuine, likeable and has not become wooden like most people in that role do!
She did say on The Project that the whole experience has made her reevaluate her thinking and the way she was dating guys in the past.
Great ratings for this one last night. I think it’s a winner.
I really enjoyed last night, was so good and funny
I haven’t seen Sophie Monk appear more down to earth/open up, hopefully she continues to prove a winner.
Well done Ten and Warner Bros
The guys usually deliver a very different cocktail party to the female Bachelor casts. But questions left unanswered last night were where did the “sea otter” come from and did it have anything to do with Jourdan developing a limp half way through?
They showed fewer arrivals in detail than other seasons, it seemed because Sophie spent a lot of time talking to each, which was different; but yes there is usually a segment that shows “the rest” arriving. However, it doesn’t necessarily correlate to ultimate success.
I think one of the men said it was actually a possum which swam across the pool.
Australian Survivor is not edited backwards like the US, which is why the editing here feels more disjointed and why the early boots here get a lot of airtime and focus in pre-season promos. The promos already began on TV whilst they were still filming and it aired only a few weeks after filming… so there is no chance they waited till after the finale episode to edit 26 episodes backwards.
Not necessarily. There are plenty of contestants who had little to no airtime early on in seasons that made it to the end. Like Matty J last season of The Bachelorette and Elise in The Bachelor. I think last night there was just a lot to cover in the cocktail party that they rushed through it more.
I was so confused with the whole sea otter thing. That was really random.
Soooooo many douchebags
I want:
•Ryan: GONE
•Cry baby: GONE
•I love myself from WA: GONE
•Throwing jocks man: GONE
I didn’t know @Mitchell_Nock was on it
Blake is the best looking guy there. He is my fave by a mile.
Unfortunate name for Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise
Worth a look
Another great episode tonight and surprisingly enjoying this much more than The Bachelor. Sophie screaming and crying on the big flying fox was hilarious. That Jarrad guy though what a possessive psycho. Hope he goes soon.
That is a bit harsh. He just likes her and wanted to talk to her and the others were telling him not to even say hi.
Harsh how? He became extremely possessive. He had a date, was safe and had a rose already. There are 15 other guys who needed to speak to her before him. Plus that ugg boot stunt was just lame, knowing she’d already been given ugg boots.
Late reply but fair enough. You never had any link for the one from SA in your post so assumed only ones from the other states were participating.
Ha. Perhaps very few apply to begin with because they prefer not to participate in such trashy “reality TV”. They have some self-respect unlike others.
That to one side, I get the reasons as to why a certain state more times than not gets overlooked on these shows.
