The Bachelor Australia

That would be why 3 out of the previous 5 winning Bachelor couples are still together or married… right? Two of those couples also had kids.

Before this the only other winning couple to break up were Alex and Richie (of course disregarding Honey badgers season because there was no winner).

Based on the publication, take this with a grain of salt I’d say.

This story does the rounds every year.

Another contender - yet absolutely no basis for the story. Even the headline keeps changing to attract more clicks. Was originally Survivor Locky Set To Be The Next Bachelor

Isn’t Locky with Brooke or did they break up already?

The bachelor 2020 to be announced on Kyle and Jackie o show tomorrow Morning. Main rumours are dr Chris brown Or lee from
Survivor.

Who do I think the 2020 Bachelor will be? Probably someone far more interested in boosting their media profile than actually finding love!

Isn’t that true for most, if not all, that have been before 2020?

Apparently Locky from Survivor is in the mix too and with him being booted tonight it could be perfect timing.

Is this a joke? I think this will be the first season that I won’t watching.

I don’t watch the show often but was he some popular contestant on Survivor? Well liked down to earth or something?

I only watched survivor once and I remember him as being a bit of a dick.

Recycled Reality Talent also of late does not seem to be working. Angie’s attempt hasn’t really done to well. The entire survivor season is recycled Talent this year, numbers are not good. People want new faces.

They did well with the promotion and build up of the previous fella. I think the viewers like someone new and intriguing especially when the marketing is ramped up.

Exactly right.

Last night I literally referred to him as a “boring bogan” and was glad that he was voted out. To me he’s just a mediocre, forgettable contestant that they kept trying to make out was some appealing ladies man. It’s not even like he was a standout or overly popular contestant (like people like David, Shonee, Nick etc were) so I’m confused by it.

It just feels like tacky recycling of someone on a show that has declined this season. I don’t think he has broad appeal and Survivor also attracts a very different audience to The Bachelor too. If they were gonna cast someone from a show get someone with some pulling power otherwise cast someone new and fresh. It just seems like a boring choice to me. I also think Angie definitely had broader appeal and was quite popular at the time of her casting but Locky is such a wtf choice and makes me not want to watch.

The cost of recycled reality vs a newbie from the outside wouldn’t be much different. New People don’t really have any bargaining power and are essentially just after some public spotlight.

I assume they go Reality to avoid training the new person from the outside in the whole how to act on camera.

What a boring, uninspired choice.

10 are going down a slippery path with stunt casting the same faces across multiple shows, and it’s already starting to backfire.

10 really hates going for new talents and personalities, judging by this choice.

At least Matt Agnew was someone new and a fresh choice for last year and is a somewhat understated personality.
