The Amazing Race Australia

I’ve only heard of Pittman, Judd and Denyer. Warwick Capper would’ve been another one so not sure what happened to him?

Won’t there be diversity complaints with this lineup?

I admit I have no idea who the “Reality TV and social media stars” are, but the rest are celebrities to me.

You don’t know The Wiggles or Kath & Kim? Silverchair or The Voice? Do you only consume American media?

I do know but i didn’t know The Wiggles has a female member and which one is Kath/Kim?

Anyway , the format of The Amazing Race is absolute trash these days. All travel will probably be pre-booked flights and hire cars with local drivers. I won’t be watching.

not only that, she’s completed an eight year stint in the group and already been gone for nearly two years.

Peter Rowsthorn from Kath and Kim who played Kim’s husband Brett. Also known for comedy series like The Comedy Company and his stand-up comedy work.

It’s like you’ve been living in a cave. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Emma was part of the second generation of The Wiggles. You’ll be shocked to learn there are even more female members now in the third generation.

Not a bad line-up at all, some good names in there. Still unlikely to watch with Beau as host and the gimmicks they keep introducing.

Bec Judd will be painful. I hope they send her to the slums

Denyer just keeps on trying to revive his TV career. Is other careers outside of the box.

He has done other work. He and his wife have had a podcast in recent times and he drives cars. If people offer him jobs in television, then why shouldn’t he take them if that’s what he wants to do?

You should be complaining more of Survivors George, whos payroll is he on? Is he going to sabotage others players?

Sorry, which cast member is from The Voice?

Darren McMullen was the inaugural host of The Voice Australia.

Ahh yes.
I more associate him with The Love Flop. He probably is still on contract with 10.

Me too.

Two of the biggest names on this cast by a mile (Pretty much Aussie icons). But ok. :man_facepalming:

Harry Jowsey might not be known by a lot of us but I remember reading an article last year on how he is one of the biggest Australian reality stars by earnings/popularity. He has over 9 million followers across social media platforms. Albeit a lot of his followers would be an international audience as he is famous from Netflix ‘Too hot to handle’. Teddy who he is paired with was on the first season of Love Island Australia too (I doubt that many people remember him from that though).

The Real Love Flop. :stuck_out_tongue:

He has had a string of flops like the SeaChange reboot and the last season of House Husbands when they ruined it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I was actually pleasantly surprised when I saw this casting announcement on FB this morning, I actually knew nearly every celebrity. That doesn’t happen often with these celebrity shows.

Having the cast as celebs, & then their (mostly) non celebrity partners, it means at least some of the cast is unknowns. Could be trying to cater to those that prefer new contestants/cast.

The Celebrity cast does seem like a last ditch attempt to save the show though.

Don’t forget The Big Music Quiz…started out with huge potential and went down hill fast

Thank god they chose to put him on this and keep The Traitors George free.

I actually think this cast is worse than I’ m A Celeb…
10 are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Who even are Dane and Bow Simpson? Apparently not big enough to include in their press release, but still included in the cast.

I’m calling it early. This show has flop written all over it… call it the Darren effect.

Dane Simpson is a stand-up comedian who I
have seen in quite a few comedy series like Utopia and Get Crackin’. But he has been a guest/panellist on a lot of shows like Have You Been Paying Attention, Question Everything, The Hundred, Celebrity Letters and Numbers.

Bow is his dad (not a celebrity).
