Does it really matter for a panel show? The only hassle would be flights/accommodation for the talent but the audience won’t notice any difference. The Daily Telegraph loves to stir up anti-Melbourne sentiment for any reason.

Same reason why the AFL version uses a Melbourne background - because the national media think that the competition revolves around the one city.
Though to be fair, at least the AFL version has the MCG in it’s background.

But competition does revolve one city. Most of the teams are there and the headquarters is there.

Qld has 4 teams in the comp and is one half of state of origin. The dominant half.
Yes but the competition still “revolves” around Sydney though. That’s the wording that was used and it is correct.
I’m not talking about what or where it revolves around. I’m taking about the backdrop. Why does it even need to be a cityscape? What’s that got to do with rugby league?
Should they include other images to make it more inclusive? Yes.
But I guess they’re just choosing a backdrop of where the show is coming from (or where it will be when they build the set 
).
Something like a footy stadium, even the SCG, or a grandstand, and maybe the premiership trophy..

Seen in Brisbane promoting both versions of Agenda Setters with the v/o “The Agenda Setters AFL and Agenda Setters Rugby League Monday on Seven and 7+”.
I suppose viewers are supposed to deduce that the NRL version is shown in Queensland at 7.30pm and on 7Mate and later that night they can watch both on the main channel. And when is the AFL version on 7Plus - live at 6.30pm?

I noticed that the AFL promo was just for the OG Agenda Setters rather than a combined promo (and the v/o said 7Mate at 7.30pm) . Why make the separate NRL /AFL promo rather than one that just promoted NRL.
