Very good numbers for the return last night. I think the show has found an audience

On tonight’s episode, a contestant made it to the final question (1%) without using his pass. Host Jim Jefferies said that’s the first time it had happened in the Australian series.

Unfortunately, he and the other contestant answered the 1% question incorrectly, so both missed out on the $98,000 prizemoney.

The 1% Club is moving to Tuesday on 26 March. Wednesday’s spot will be taken by The 1% Club UK version starting from S01 E01.

The show features on Gogglebox this week.

Tuesdays without idol hasn’t been working for 7, so might as well try moving 1% which has been doing somewhat good there to be competitive

Will the UK version stay in the schedule after Easter, when the new season of Farmer Wants a Wife is supposed to start?

7 are pushing their luck … as much as I like 1% Club, twice a week (Aussie version on Tuesdays, British on Wednesdays) is going to fatigue some viewers if the format

Best keep the UK version for an 8:30 post reality timeslot when this season of the Aussie version finishes up.

Minor spoilers (related to last week’s episode)

The 1% Club on Tuesday and The 1% Club UK Wednesday is just for one week as a combo together. In fact, the Tuesday episode of the Australian version is the ‘final’ one for now even though its technically not the season final.

Not impressed with Seven.

They’ve labelled the UK version as S3 of The 1% Club so when the Aus version airs S3 Fetch won’t record it as it’s already recorded a S3 of The 1% Club.

I don’t think that’s a 7 thing is it?

Yeah? Don’t the networks decide the episode and show titles.

Why couldn’t they title it The 1% Club UK?

The 1% Club UK will be shown on 7mate in Melbourne and Adelaide on April 24, due to live AFL on the main channel.

When is the Australian version coming back

Any chance of 7 getting the rights to the US version so they have other English versions of the show so they can fill gaps, like how the UK one is doing

Haven’t we Americanised Australian television enough already?

I think the Aussie and British version will be enough to fill the schedule.
