Guy and Virginia absolutely killed it tonight.
Wow, 9 let Hamish off his leash
I think Virginia topped Julia’s performance- just brilliant
Performers weren’t afraid to throw in sexy references/language in the original run of the show either
So they should, he only does one show for them plus maybe a podcast.
What a terrific episode tonight! I did really enjoy Danielle and Aaron, but like others have said Guy and Virginia were simply astounding. So excited to have Hamish back next week too, this scene from 2009 is one of my all time faves
Hardly on 9’s leash when he only works there for three weeks every year.
Well i mean he does 12 episodes of Lego. What else are they holding him for?
Was he on one?
Funny ep apart from Aaron’s, so many jokes I was coming up with that would have got laughs but probably skating on the edge,
“Potato gems” was a bloody good improv. Unfortunately his only good one in both episodes.
This week’s guest judge is Josh Lawson.
Emma was very good too. Even better than she normally is on HYPBA. And Hamish’s sketch was hilariously meta.
Its a lot funnier when they interrupt the scene, get in character and create chaos rather than simply answer the questions with a one-liner.
Honestly thought this weeks line up was going to be pretty weak, but they did a really good job! can’t wait to see them do it together!
3 tv shows/cross segments in one show.
I think they might be leaning a bit too hard in to the genre.
Also, agree with above, Emma was good on debut.
Sam Pang should go on the show. Tim Mcdonald is quick on his feet too
Ray, Julia, Michelle And Marty, Thank God You’re Here.
Wednesday, 6 September at 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Next Wednesday, buckle in for another wild ride on Thank God You’re Here as Ray O’Leary, Julia Morris, Michelle Brasier and Marty Sheargold bullsh#t their way through scenarios they’ve never seen, in costumes they’ve never worn, in front of audiences who have never laughed harder.
As always, host Celia Pacquola is here to guide (or should we say shove?) our fearless friends through the iconic blue door, and a comedy behemoth will preside over the priceless performances.
Will Marty be Shear-gold? Is O’Leary Ray out of his depth?
Wow Marty is a first?
Great lineup next week, up until the clear attempt to appeal to the Travis demographic.
