If Djokovic loses, this would be the first time he’s lost an Australian Open semi-final, and the first time since the 2014 US Open that he’s lost a hard-court Major semi.

Agtee, i think the Joker is goneski.

Just not playing well enough. It’ll take a minor miracle for him to win from 0-2 sets down.

Which he has done against Jannik Sinner once before, at Wimbledon in 2022 (he then beat Nick Kyrgios in the final).

On the flipside, Novak Djokovic has only ever once lost a match from two sets up (against Jurgen Melzer at Roland Garros in 2010).

Djokovic lost the first two sets by a fair bit. Anything can happen, and it could be an epic five-set thriller. But will see what happens.

Courier said on-air reminiscent of Roland Garros during the height of COVID when held in Paris in October

What a nailbiter of a third set, in which the Joker won.

Novak will come back. He always does.

Let’s hope Sinner takes outs this set so I don’t have to toss up between the match or the news to watch and hear Djokovic speech.

Please please someone else this year. But I just know he will comeback.

About time Djok lost. Fully deserves to finally lose after years of arrogance.

Sinner played exceptionally well. Well deserved and good to see a young star rising.

I will actually now watch the men’s Final!

Winner Winner Jannik Sinner!

Well done Jannik, Djokovic played better in the last two sets, but was just too far behind.

Good to have Sinner into the final. Another Djokovic-Medvedev final would’ve been boring and resulted in a straight-sets Novak win.

Amazing result, I thought it was too good to be true, and that he would make a comeback right until the end.

Historic evening, world headline making, 16 years in the making you could say for Melbourne Park semis (first of that magnitude since 2014 a decade ago when he lost his QF to Wawrinka in a to-advantage 5th set nail-biter)… Still can’t believe this.

‘Novak The Great’ has finally fallen. We admire and respect what the Joker has achieved at the Aussie Open, but I think this is great for the AO, tennis and sport.

Sinner

Disappointed Alcaraz lost and we would’ve got a fun final to watch between the two new rivals in Sinner and Alcaraz with them having played a marathon QF in the US open less than 18 months ago.

I’ll enjoy watching a men’s Grand Slam final without Djoker involved :+1::tennis:
