As stated by the Chief Justice… the decision is on the legality of the minister’s decision and as such the application to review the decision has been dismissed. Let’s hope that’s the end of it. It was a full bench unanimous decision.

Sensible verdict from the federal court.
Hopefully this is the final verdict with no more rounds for appeal. He tried to game the system and failed (even if TA and the government failed also). He needs to learn to live with it if he had any dignity or professionalism left.
His stories had enough holes for 10 747s to fly through and is pretty much invalid. Tennis Australia and the government should be more mindful in the future when examining such cases. Don’t grant exemptions and visas until everything is proven, particularly with such divisive personalities like Novak.
