Is there still SCA references in the Illawarra?
The general 10 sponsor billboard aired in Canberra during a DOND repeat.
I assume SCA and Ten must have a contract that isn’t easy to back away from because the “10 + SCA” logo is still appearing on CSA ads, including a new one with a charity called “Talk2mebro” which has started airing in the last week or so.
I believe SCA are still doing sales which probably includes CSAs. This arrangement will probably continue indefinitely. Especially given SCA are now merged with Seven. A combined regional TV sales arm including SCA and Seven (ex-Prime) sales teams can sell ads for both Seven Regional and Ten Regional.
The other option for Ten would be to outsource sales to WIN I guess, which isn’t out of the question either.
Hands across Canberra PSAs are still airing on 10 Canberra
WIN’s sales team merged with Nine’s network sales division shortly after WIN reaffiliated with Nine. As a result, any such agreement would effectively operate as an extension of any proposal Nine and Paramount may reach regarding the handling or absorption of Network 10’s metropolitan advertising sales division.
I’m guessing that will happen, especially given the shrinking market for FTA: there’ll presumably be packages for both Seven, Ten and the radio stations in markets like Bendigo and Townsville where SCA does sales for all three. Saves costs on things like overhead: I assume we’ll be seeing Ten stations move to where the Seven ones are or vice versa once leases expire
Does Ten have any offices in Newcastle? Or is it all done from Sydney now? Does WIN still handle sales? Or do SCA handle sales from the Triple M/Hit offices?
Why is win still doing sponsor billboards for nrn despite 10 providing national sales?
I saw a 10 metro billboard during MasterChef for the new Star wars movie, so I wonder if we’ll get more of these once win takes over NBN come July.
this is because WIN still handles the traffic and playout for 10 Northern NSW, but this may change if and when WIN acquires NBN.
WIN GOLD has been removed from on 10 Northern NSW lineup now.
already noted Gold - #55 by telecom
Would this indicate that control has been passed from WIN’s MediaHub over to NPC?
Has 10 in Northern NSW launched Nickelodeon yet considering that Gold was removed just recently?
No according to @telecom:
