Was that actually for Channel 10 in Australia? I ask (because I don’t remember it, and) because of the incorrect (American) spelling of colour.
Yes. Nine used the American spelling for colour, too.

it was the logo for TEN10 in Sydney from its inception in 1965, with a change in font to the above version in about 1969-70, with colour added to the logo in 1974-75, and continued through until about 1982. The “Color” spelling was adopted by most Australian media in the 1970s. At least ABC still stuck to the correct spelling “Colour”.

Only used on TEN-10 Sydney except in a couple of Network retro promos like this for Life on Mars that was set in 1973. Ten also broadcast some adverts from the time during the show.

No, all markets done in the TEN style.

Life on Mars was set in 1973 and Ten ran retro promos (and competitions) featuring the TEN-10 Sydney logo from that year - however in 1973 there was no channel 10 in Melbourne or Brisbane - it was Channel 0 in both markets.
This was the TEN HD watermark PRG in 2009.
