Does anyone here still watch the show?
- Yes - everynight
- Only for the odd episode
- Haven’t watched since the first few show’s
- Haven’t watched it in the first place
Does anyone here still watch the show?
I’ve watched the repeat that airs later in the night every second night
Interesting you say that. The share for this outing in the 25 to 54s demo is around 16% (as opposed to 6% for the 6pm outing).
Yes works quite well as late night tv, Late News, Ten News + then the Late Show, the most complete line up at that time on Aussie TV.
Just spit-balling here, but if more people are watching it at 11, could it work better if it was only at that time?
More people aren’t watching it at 11 I’d assume. It just has a bigger share of that audience.
It wouldn’t be a viable proposition at that time.
Amelia quite passionate for the intro of the Gaza story tonight, quite emotional talking about it with Denham after it finished too.
Edit: quite a long outro tonight, seemed like they padded a bit, and very long wide shot shown to finish.
‘We don’t want to’: Ten news anchors overcome with emotion
10News+ hosts Amelia Brace and Denham Hitchcock both became visibly emotional during Thursday’s episode, following a harrowing report about starvation faced by children in Gaza.
Isn’t that normal?
It was Lachlan Kennedy last Friday.
Believe Lachlan filled in for last 2 weeks, so Hugh returns to the show tonight.
The introduction of 10 News+ seems to be having an impact on the 5pm 10 bulletin. It has dropped from recent highs for the last two weeks and this week had its lowest rating since March.
Why would a show that’s on after the 5pm news and therefore able to switch channels after you’ve watched the 5pm, affect the show beforehand?
I’d say viewers who turned on 10 News ahead of watching Deal Or No Deal have been lost.
Gotcha. Makes complete sense. Thanks.
This is correct. A massive drop in the second hour of 10 News.
As can also be seen in the reach numbers. About 200k lower, which some would be those DOND early switch ons
