Extended interview with Dr Chris Webster tonight promoted during 5pm news. Excerpts shown as part of 5pm story.
I think the problem here is the EP - an ex journo - has gone and pitched 10 the show he wanted to make and watch. Rather than the show suburban 10 viewers wanted to watch.
The more I see and read about this show is abundantly clear why itâs not connecting with viewers.
Itâs scared all the project viewers off. Itâs not what Aussies or 10 viewers want at 6z and actually, itâs not that well made. Itâs slow, lethargic and un dynamic
Why isnât this just Top Story or Halle Jackson now format off NBC News now. Why didnât they just copy that exact format.
Fast paced dynamic news of the day format.
People want lean in fast news at 6. Not lean back insights format.
This EP has fundamentally misunderstood the audience. And 10 execs fell for his sales pitch hook line and sinker.
Fire him - get Adam boland or that gay sunrise ep Michael Pell. And copy NBC News now. Easy

I assume thereâs a few good producers from The Project that are currently looking for work⌠I have no doubt they would have covered last nightâs Mushroom Trial verdict better than the slop 10News+ served up.

He was a good producer no, he seemed to get how to make tv that resonated with the audience.

Better opening to the show tonight, didnât waste time. Got straight into the big interview within 2 minutes.
Denham still so socially awkward. His opening line to the doctor was a mess. Needs to look at the people he is talking too, not the bottom of the desk.

If anything it encourages advertises to go advertise on those platforms rather than on 10 itself
Tonightâs pre-recorded story on the Mushroom case is the story they needed to air last night.
It seems much better tonight?! They really need to add national weather at 6.55. And Iâd love a news ticker (in case anyone is reading this at 10 News + 
).

does Ten get a cut of any ad revenue generated through those platforms? Iâm tipping itâs not a generous cut, either way.
All signs are pointing to a 4 week only run for Big Brother. I would imagine at this rate schedule changes will be well advanced by then if not done
Well nothing. Itâs just heâs part of the family so thatâs how I remember him 
Anyway. Point is - he got formats. This EP does not
Georgia Tunny and Rob Mills are competing in the upcoming series of The Amazing Race Australia so it makes sense to keep her on the payroll. I like her on The Project.
