As of now, Perth doesn’t have a dedicated weather presenter on weekends.

Pretty sure he’s talking about Doody as he was the one presenting weather when Perth suddenly stopped using him.
For sure, there will always be people who don’t like the way others present. But when you’re unhappy with how a colleague is delivering the weather and your first reaction is to complain and ask for someone else, it feels a bit unfair especially when this person is so vocal and passionate about respecting and supporting people’s rights and differences.
