Nicest guy in the ATV newsroom back in the day, especially compared to the duo who were anchoring then…

He was literally everywhere at 10.

Started at ATV during the Mal/Jen days, then moved to TVQ (Brisbane) where their then-sports presenter Bill McDonald was promoted to the main desk upon Geoff Mullins’ departure at the end of 2003, then moved south to TEN (Sydney) in 2007 to become the new anchor of Sports Tonight and later the local 5:00pm news when Tim Webster stepped down in mid-2008.

During his time in Brisbane, he would also ride the boundary line at the Gabba for Brisbane Lions matches, also a role held by McDonald (I believe).

Finally, he returned to ATV in 2013 to inherit the role of Quarters, who moved to the main desk upon Mal Walden’s retirement.

What year did he leave 10 ATV?

I couldn’t agree more. People could learn a few things from him.

April 2018 from memory.

Correct.

That was a month or two before Jennifer Keyte returned to Ten after two stints at Seven on either side of nearly a decade at Nine, at which point Quarters returned to presenting sport.

Of course who could forget Sandra and Brad on the Late News, and the Sydney 5:00pm news?

Two people who could learn a thing or two from Brad.

Sandra and Brad? WTF?

I’m pretty sure Brad and Sandra didn’t present together that much, with Brad moving between 10’s stations, his main presenting team in Sydney was more Deb and Bill.

they were on Late News/Sports Tonight for ages. He was there on her last night, they were a great duo.

Sandra Sully attended Hilton’s 50 years in Australia celebrations at Sydney Hilton Hotel recently.

(sidenote: Hilton opened a hotel at Wellington Parade, East Melbourne in 1974. It was closed in 2014 with Accor taking over management rights. It’s now known as Pullman on the Park)

Today was Brendan Crew’s last day at ATV10.

Is he relocating or leaving 10?
