Why, if there is already resources there via CBS? What’s the point in duplicating the effort for Ten. This is the type of synergies that having Ten as part of a global brand benefits from.
Exactly, they have some stringers around and they focus their efforts in Australia where I’m sure CBS and 5 will use for any local stories
He’s not even in Poland anymore. He’s back in London for some reason.
Probably standing by for the Queen to die.
Not much point being in Poland when you have affiliate staff on the ground in the business part of proceedings.
Jelisa Apps presenting Sport in Sydney and Brisbane tonight.
Charlotte Goodlet presenting in Perth.
Lachlan Kennedy presenting in Sydney & Brisbane tonight.
Sandra Sully is co-hosting at the 66th Walkley Awards in Sydney tonight.
Friday 25 February-
Candice Wyatt is presenting in Melbourne and Adelaide tonight.
Ashleigh Nelson is presenting Sport in Perth tonight.
That just sounds clunky. I would word it as “in Luhansk Ukraine, Charlie D’Agata, CBS News, for 10 News First”
Ursula Heger redeployed to Windsor with JP Gonzo in Poland. Good to see they’re beefing up Europe at the moment with lots going on.
Yes… good move! Clearly they needed to send someone over. Should have happened a week ago.
They’ve done a good job tonight:
- 3 reports and 4 live crosses from Qld with the flooding
- 1 report and live cross to the UK
- 1 report and live cross to Poland
- 1 report from Washington
It’s a shame this quality isn’t seen night in and night out. The limitations lie with these pathetic hybrid local bulletins with so much of the bulletins pre-recorded.
Yep… one of the best national bulletins I’ve seen from 10 in a long time.
It’s a shame they don’t have a late news anymore. It’s really missing on 10. They lie dormant from 9pm each night.
It’s also amazing what they can do when the bulletin is fully live… they just did a live cross again with breaking news.
Only in Sydney and Melbourne, it’s a disaster elsewhere. Of course this excludes WA who get a local bulletin which is better than nothing given it’s presented from Sydney.
