Can someone give Lachlan free rein as host on a breakfast show? His performance on Studio 10 was an eye opener and I have noticed how at ease he is with conversation on the news in recent days. You could throw anything at this kid and I reckon he could do it blindfolded. Hard news, interviews, fun banter.
His day will come very soon, I predict.

He was exceptional on Studio10 especially considering he got the call up the night before & hosted with someone who was totally green.
The rates for the 5pm news have been vastly improved with Lachlan & Hugh filling in.

I do agree Lachlan is a very talented host/newsreader who deserves a permanent role,but Ten doesn’t really have much to offer him currently apart from filling in roles.
Hopefully one day he is snapped up by another network where he would have better opportunities available to him.
