They should take Narelda off S10 now… the role isn’t the same as she agreed to. She’d be better utilised filing stories for The Project if she wanted to do more than newsreading. Perhaps it wouldn’t require as much time away from 5pm either.

How has it changed?
The appeal when she agreed to move was that she was able to express her views as a panellist and also spend some time on the road filing packages. It’s more of a newsreading role now. I’m proposing that she do reports and guest stints for The Project instead, allowing her to drop those long days. It might result in her doing more 5pm bulletins (which is ideal for 10) too.

She’s still doing some of that nowadays on the show, maybe not as often but certainly she still does join the panel on some topics (as does Ange Bishop).
If she likes this kind of roster then by all means it will continue but you’re right it is a massive working day for her during the week and props to her for being able to nail it all the time.

Probably but also the result of losing (and not replacing) other presenters like Roz Kelly, and back up presenters like Emma Lawrence.
