Ah ok, yeah she may have been used when she was still employed by 10 as host of The Loop on 10Peach.
EDIT: Yeah I’ve now done a bit of research, and she is still actually employed by 10, but must be happy to focus on 10Travlr and other projects. As good as she might have been, maybe she doesn’t want to do weather.
No, Hugh is awesome and the perfect fill in for Sandra. He was anchoring the bulletin with Sandra when they were doing dual presenters.

Looking back I was actually in a crap mood the night I wrote that-couple that with unexpected change(which I hate)and sometimes I’ll say stuff that I don’t necessarily mean. Hugh is a good reader, I just don’t think that he should be the ONLY option when Sandra is away.
Having said that, I agree that Natasha Exelby’s use yesterday for the national bulletin was a great move by Ten. It shows that they do still have a reasonable bank of talent to draw on. Hopefully she can fill in for Jen in Melbourne/Adelaide sometime if Candice or Stephen are unavailable.

Natasha should be the primary fill in for Jen - Stephen is better suited to sport and Natasha is better than Candice.

At the end of her live cross following her report tonight, Kathrin Firkin called Tash ‘Tarsh’ by mistake.
I don’t see that as wrong. I have friend called Natasha and she pronounces her name Nah-tah-shah. We always shorten it to Tahsh.

Channel 10’s use of other fill ins was short lived…
I mean, Hugh’s a good journo, but what happens if both he AND sulstar are unavailable(which is bound to happen because that’s just life)?? based on previous comments made here, it’s highly unlikely they’ll give bathie a go…and there’s nobody else left that they can easily access…
