Oh most definitely. I much preferred it when Chris was on Seven as she(and most of the others)was given plenty of different opportunities over the years. If I had my way, I’d have her return there, and get Sandra and Hugh over as well(who knows, maybe Sandra could do a late night double header with Musher??) #wishfulthinking
I’ve always been under the impression (and I’m probably wrong) that Chris Is not actually an employee of 10 and rather a freelancer who gets paid per bulletin, so perhaps that is why she isn’t used as a fill in, and rather an employee of the network is used.

I don’t know for sure but I’m pretty sure Chris is happy on her farm and bird watching and not working M-F.

Actually Sandra’s absences are far less frequent than they used to be.
As for Chris, perhaps she’s more than happy to work just two days a week.

I don’t understand why not present the news from Melbourne and throw the sport and weather to someone in Sydney. Like what they did for the national 2 week bulletin of 2020-21.
Maybe because they’ve got a nice big expensive studio there?
Maybe Tash was already in Sydney for something else?
Because then instead of one presenter on a public holiday, you’ve got a producer, camera operator, autocue, floor manage and technical director at least.
