Ten News First Presenters and Reporters

QTQ used to do this every commercial break from 1987 to 1994. I must say, it never looked tacky.

Oh he is still there…I thought he was one of the casualties of the 2020 sackings but happy to be wrong! I always thought he would become co-anchor with Bec had Adelaide reintroduced dual presenters in the late 2010s (as they did with Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane)

That’s somewhat unusual - normally Sandra works right up to the Friday before Christmas. As does Jennifer Keyte (she’s presenting down here as normal - I won’t speculate what’s going to happen over the next few weeks as I have been wrong on multiple occasions!)

So what? She may have taken annual leave earlier or off for a multitude of other reason. Must we engage in this constant speculation of the whereabouts of various newsreaders. Just like all of us who work, there are a number of situations where we aren’t in at the office from time to time. Notwithstanding rights to sick and annual leave.

No one available in Sydney to present sport tonight. They’re using some reporter from Adelaide it seems to present sport remotely.

He fills in on both sport and weather in Adelaide and isn’t bad…

That static globe green screen is interesting though.

Who presented Melbourne?

I think it was national tonight.

Christmas and Boxing Days are national bulletins only for 10 (and maybe bank holidays in case any of these fell on a Saturday or a Sunday).

10 will be national all week. They shut down over the holidays for at least a week, a few years ago it was two weeks.

They’re a disaster area at this time of year. Even more so than normal.
