10 are advertising for a journalist position for the Canberra bureau, following the resignation of Stela Todorovic a few months back.
I would’ve thought there would’ve been someone within the network who might’ve been interested where they could build up their profile in the national press gallery.

I guess there’s nothing stopping internals from applying though I’m not sure 10 has the depth of talent just hanging around looking for a promotion, who would be happy to move cities, as they once might have. And if they did take someone from another newsroom, that’s another lost resource elsewhere they’d have to advertise/backfill.

Jen’s on holidays based on Instagram posts. Not sure about Sandra but she has been known to take holidays around this time in previous years also, so I assume that’s the case at the moment
