Georgie is really good, Pip takes the cake though… when it comes to fill in presenting for Josh. Still think Tegan George was also good back in the day before Josh came along… Shame they did let her fill in as much after that.

Re, Tanya Dendrinos: Do we know if she’s a permanent addition to the 10 News First Sydney reporting team or is she just freelancing?

If Tanya is indeed a new fulltime member of the Sydney reporting team, I wouldn’t mind predicting (yes, even a pinch over six weeks before the event begins) that 10 News First will consider doing what Seven did with Sarina Andaloro last year by getting the ex-regional reporter on Showground reporting duties!

I think he’s on materinity leave cover for Pippa now, with Sam Butler taking Tegan’s position (Clare Barnes now on the politics round with Sam taking court.)

I’m also hearing Tim Collits will be getting back on the road, with a new person potentially taking his producer role.
