Either that or they are battling it out gladiator-style for their job because Ten can only afford one expensive newsreader.
If there was such a thing as a Ten News conference, it would be to announce that theyâre outsourcing to SkyâŚ
Candice again going solo and as well presenting weather tonight
Seriously. Why doesnât Ten just sack all the reporters and have one person sitting in front of a camera reading the newspaper? They just donât seem interested in producing a consistent, engaging one hour news service.
And candice is going to Rio shortly I believe for the Olympic games. Iâd rather have more reporters than presenters to be honest.

Lachlan Kennedy presenting solo in Brisbane tonight.
[/quote] Georgie returned tonight, Thursday (30.06.16).
do we know which reporters have recently joined the network under the recent advertising banner. Is Katherine Firkin from Melbourne and Tim Morgan from Adelaide one of them.
Tim Morgan was a sports journalist with WIN Townsville until recently, so a new addition to Ten.
Katherine Firkin previously worked for 3AW and Seven News before joining Ten.
In other news Phoebe Bowden from Adelaide has been reporting in Canberra for the last few days- not sure if sheâs on one of those short week-long assignments or now permanently reporting there.
Sandra flying solo tonight and Scott McKinnon is presenting sport.
Stephen Quartermain is presenting solo in Melbourne tonight.
As is Sandra in Sydney.
Candice has already left with the TEN News team bound for Rio.
Candice said on twitter this morning she is heading to Sydney for a day of planning with Rio reporting team.
So she did, appears I only read the first line of her tweet and the bit in her bio which said âRio Boundâ. Thought it was a bit early for them to be heading off
Who else is going over for ten to cover Rio?
Veronica Eggleton.
