Yeah it’s too much in the tight shot.
Not bad so far, though they spent far too long on the footage for the SOO result at the top of the bulletin however.
Would’ve thought they’d have that additional strap at the bottom of the lower thirds with weather etc.
Don’t like the grey strap for Breakfast under the logo, maybe light blue doesn’t work with white text but think that would’ve looked better.

Doesn’t feel like a breakfast newscast at all. Feels like a 5pm sit down bulletin. Not a get me up to speed with the mornings news and weather in 5-6 minutes bulletin at all. Feels super slow and stories very random

The bulletin has been alright so far but they do definitely need to speed things up to suit the mornings.
A ticker (or just weather/time), weather snapshot at the start of the bulletin, and a headline check midway through would be a good start. Oh and starting the bulletin at 8am, not 8.03

I don’t think there’s any need for the wide sweeping studio shots. Should just cut straight to Lachlan at the desk. Gives off a 5pm bulletin vibe which feels weird in the mornings, especially with such a large sterile looking studio. It needs warmth

Hard disagree IMO. Adds life to the bulletin by using their sweeping shots - its the one thing that 10’s bulletin has always had the advantage of over Nine/Seven (as minor as that detail is)

Fair enough. Maybe that difference will pay off.
As I briefly mentioned earlier, weather snapshots and headline recaps will make a world of difference.

Visually, they just need to slowdown the background loop a little. Slightly too fast.

This is strange… why do they have two newsreaders on at similar times together? I’m assuming this has to do with contract negotiations and pay.
