10 had some decent numbers on Tuesday too. Perth did well beating both The Chase and Tipping Point

Apologies as it isn’t the best quality - but they aren’t the best with capturing it.

Insightful.
Thanks for sharing this interesting figure 10 has.

It looks like there is no crane camera in use tonight. The returns from the break have been title cards.

Also the weather is now presented from the floor opposite the desk rather then on the raised platform, similar to Sydney’s 5PM.

It was the same again tonight too… very odd indeed.
All the shots seemed quite static. No wide shots coming back from any breaks - just the titlecard.
Those reported cost savings finally kicked in?

Compared to last weekend:

Still trying to be creative but just standard camera shots, no jib.

This is fine. Just weird how the weekend bulletins seemed to lack many camera shots.

Have wondered this too, whether they’re better going Sun - Thur for the available audience?

They put more effort in on Sunday nights and starts the week well for them, surely the Friday night editions ratings are quite low cause of the lineup those evenings.

Final portion of bulletin:

59,000 yesterday for Brisbane. Ranked 2nd in 25-54 in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide - only 2k off The Chase nationally.

Repeated over and over… but it just highlights the Melbourne problem. It should be the highest rated of the bunch. Last night seemed lower than normal.

Small detail but I would’ve either switched Lachy and Beau around so that Beau stood in front of “Weather” on the screen, or change that graphic altogether.

Nice shot though.

Something a bit different, todays Qld lunchtime update for InDaily / socials presented by Brendan Smith on location.

Interesting use of the newsroom - must have been recorded around 5:45 as you can see Sandra and Tara on screen in the background.

Have to say the Late News is actually very watchable for a largely pre-recorded bulletin. All the look live crosses to various reporters help.

I remember saying that i would never watch it when it first launched, i watch it every night now and haven’t watched any of the others since so…

I like the format over the daytime bulletin.

Does no one check what gets posted to the socials?

17 minute video on the Adelaide FB page including a full set of ads…

And it’s not just a one off - they seem to be chucking up the first segment, rather than uploading each story individually. Only stories which are uploaded individually are the spot stories as they are shown later in the bulletin. Looking back over the past few weeks they also uploaded a random chunk of the Sydney bulletin.

I didn’t catch what story it was for, but during sport in the first hour tonight, the wrong vision played (highlights of Prime’s ICC Championship Trophy) before Scott moved on and said they’d bring the correct story later.
