Brisbane started doing the in-bulletin “after 6” teasers for news and sport stories this week.
I was going to say exactly the same thing. Also, I like the “first at five” branding but it seems inconsistent.

Not sure why networks use YouTube still. There is no growth and limited audience interaction - not sure who turns to YouTube for news.
Platforms like Facebook allow easier interaction with viewers plus growth due to people tagging their friends in the comments and the ability to share posts easier.

Try logging out of Facebook and seeing how easy to use it is then.
Not everyone is on there, But YouTube, anyone can access, that’s why they use it, Reach.

Daniel Andrews press conference interrupted The Bold & The Beautiful around 4.38pm then continued until 5 which lead into 10 News First.
Assume only Melbourne got this?

Sometimes I wish the “full weather forecast” in the 6pm bulletin would be mentioned during the transition to the 6pm bulletin, not at the very end of Tim Bailey’s 5:55pm weather forecast. This causes some confusion for WIN viewers, but I don’t think they seem to notice it.
The only problem that I now see with this is that it creates confusion between the state-wide weekday updates which promote their local social accounts vs the national weekend updates.

Probably, but given our last community transmission case was over a month ago and all new cases are coming from hotel quarantine, i think WA does feel the worst has been stopped.
I’d say the state political reporter needs a bigger profile boost than Monika…
