Yeah I think you’re right re the style for this First Person podcasts, that it’s led by passionate reporters - I think something along this line is usually mentioned by Narelda in the intro.

Should have promoted them when 10Daily was about to close, given the extremely low number of subscribers for the 10 News First YouTube channel.
YouTube probably wasn’t even on their radar at that point, and that channel wasn’t even 10 News First’s to begin within so better than starting from scratch like they’re doing on Instagram when they have old accounts sitting dormant.
Just checked the 10 News First YouTube channel and there hasn’t been anything uploaded in the last 5 days, so they’re promoting this on the news but there’s nothing being added? Makes total sense…

That’s about 10 News’ attention span when it comes to investing energy into digital. They prob gave up already when they saw the clips getting 23 views.

Never watch the weekend edition, the weather segment is awful, the presenter wanders around the set in front of the screen. It’s very distracting not to mention it’s a marathon going through every city other than Perth, there’s no need for interaction with Chris, they should just shoot state based forecasts and have her throw back to Chris. Would flow much better and give viewers a better experience.

I’ve mentioned this like a year ago. It’s shocking. Takes way too long having to listen to all these irrelevant state forecasts. Needs to be prerecorded or thrown to a local presenter.

As they’re usually understaffed on weekends, it helps pad out the bulletin… that’s about it!
Could’ve been a Youtube collab. Knowing how Facebook pushed traditional news orgs to do bulletins, maybe Youtube is doing the same?
