I don’t like how they’re using this graphic from the headlines for online use, I’ve never been a fan of it - but good that they’re promoting these things more.

Additionally, 10’s latest news podcast featured during this Exclusive story from Lia Harris last night.
Pretty useless to not mention where they can find the podcast, and to say “our website” is useless too when it’s not clear what the site is… typical 10.
They need to be doing more to promote their social news channels - much more. Especially right now when news is changing every second, and they are on air one hour a day with new breakfast, morning or late news - they should be pushing to the social channels constantly and pushing news out there - with regards to all that is going on. Flashing up the FB and Twitter for 3 seconds once at the end of the bulletin is not enough. It needs to be pushed with reads from the hosts and full screen graphics multiple times - and in updates too
10 Queensland started promoting their YouTube channel this week during the headline recap, as opposed to 10play.com.au. I know you are talking about more, but I thought I’d just mention it.
As much as I love their set, I couldn’t help but think that perhaps a dark glossy floor would look so much nicer.
Having so much of the couch in shot, when it’s not used during the news at all seems strange, why not shift it a little bit to the right (if they can) whilst still showing some of it and then it doesn’t block so much of that video wall they’re using and would look better IMO.

Agreed but they are harder and more expensive to maintain. Plus it would be a bit dark for morning TV as well.
Now I’m getting Ten News content on the YouTube news section alongside all the other networks - seems to have helped their view counts as previously they’d be minuscule.

The latest updates on 10 News First Perth show a slightly altered Super graphic. Below the super, it now includes the flipper used in Sydney to display Local weather, and inside the super, includes a diagonal shaped flipper box that displays the handles for their Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Looks good, great to see social media integration.

Given they no longer have a news website, it’s the least they could have done.
I don’t like the use of Five though when they usually use 5 elsewhere, but it’s probably a legacy thing that’s been carried over. From memory, each state uses something different in That super.
I’d go one step further and move that to another small super above the main one, and replace that text with something like “For the latest:” etc.
