God this argument is still going on
They are shortening their news over the holidays, big deal. No one sits there for 90 minutes unless youâre on media spy. People will have other things to do than watch TV and the ratings suggest that over the period. Itâs the same every year.
Storm in a teacup!
All this talk of âmomentumâ but has there been any sign the 90 minute bulletin is improving the numbers for Ten?
Australiaâs obsession with news (but not after 7pm) still baffles me
@Brekkie yes - 6pm is up about 30% for 10
One thing is for sure, your defence of all things 10 is unwavering. Lost all perspective, but unwavering.
A lot cheaper to produce than drama or comedy and mostly rates better.
The 6pm news for both 9 and 7 regularly trade top position in the overnight ratings.
Perth still running promos featuring Narelda. I understand that its holiday season and they havenât filmed Monika promos yet, But surely they could just keep it generic?
They need to do a good amount of promotion for Monika. Right now they have done hardly any.
Would love to see an Article in the West but with 7 owning basically half of WA media donât see that happening.
Surely any publicity photos theyâve already done with Monika (such as the one issued with the press release) could be incorporated into an updated Promo Endtag for 10 News First Perth?
Then again, we are talking about the same network which ran a generic promo for Toasted TV on 10 Peach with Olly & Elly for about three months after the latter presenter left and Lia took over!
The guide is showing 10 news through 6.30 all next week except Christmas Day
even Boxing Day?
I only have a 7 day guide on Fetch
Then how can you say "all next week?
Cause I did
You said itâs all next week and then said you can only view up to 7 days. Which takes you mid week to Wednesday. Something doesnât add up.
This isnât correct at all.
Thursday and Friday remain at 60 minutes.
Bondi Rescue airs at 6pm.
Which guide are you looking at?
Like I said, Fetch
And what does it say for Thursday and Friday next week?
10âs Queensland FB Watch bulletin from last night just premiered about an hour ago, likely that the wrong time was selected for this to happen.
Three guides Iâve looked at have 90min bulletins Monday and Tuesday and 60 minute bulletins Christmas and Boxing Day with Bondi Rescue at 6pm.
Interestingly, Sandra Sully said âsee you next weekâ at the end of tonightâs bulletin.
