Friday night movie instead of Saturday Night because the Matilda’s are playing?

So they moved the Saturday movie time to 7.00pm? Rather than 6.30?

Yes. This change was made last weekend with Moana.

Yes - about 2 weeks ago.

If I were 10 I would trial movies at 5pm and a 30min national 7pm news on Saturdays.

Could a 4pm til 5pm news bulletin work on Saturdays and Sundays? This would remove it as being in direct competition with Seven and Nine, plus your idea of a 7pm bulletin is actually a great idea. Ten could potentially look at seeing about airing an A League game at 5pm if one was available on Sundays

That’s way too early for the main weekend bulletin. It needs to either stay at 5pm or otherwise wait until 10pm.

10 cant get rid of their high rating NBL that finishes ast 4.30pm on Sundays in Sydney and Melbourne. Lol. Im joking. Noone is watching that.

4pm is too early for the news. Nine’s Late News that usually follows 60 Minutes rates well. Would a late news work for 10 on a Sunday? At 9pm-ish?

The main bulletin would be at 7pm, just a condensed edition with the biggest stories of the day. A 4pm bulletin could include some of the less important stories with possibly a Face To Face style interview segment with a politician and a similar styled sports themed interview on Saturdays afternoon edition.

These are ideas on how to implement it. The Sunday Project could with be rested or scheduled at 7:30pm

Thanks. I’m catching up. I’ve been out of the country.

They need to use these into the next ratings period, could provide some competition for the other networks.

This is a 2-part documentary which premiered on Channel 5 UK in August this year.
