But they already scraped that barrel and Bachelor in Paradise flopped so I don’t think they’ll be scraping it again. If they are going to do another dating type show then it should be something new like Love Is Blind Australia. That seems to be a trashy success in America.

Q1 is almost finished and there is still far too much reliance on NCIS/FBI formats especially in repeat mode in relatively early timeslots, as well still no news on the late news revival.
It was first revealed in September by TV Blackbox and confirmed by 10 a few weeks later in early October, plenty of time you would think to do what they need to do to get it to air.
Perhaps they are waiting until HYBPA?, Cheap Seats etc return in May as a better lead-in? Even though it likely (if it is still happening) won’t directly follow them from what we know.
I’m starting to wonder if the Late News has quietly been dumped.

Knowing 10, it either had to be quietly shelved with the small round of redundancies that happened recently or it’ll randomly launch with a week’s notice god knows when.
They seemed committed to it when a spokesperson stated “Network 10 will continue to produce 90 minutes of news nightly” and all the recent talk of making more news than less.

Or maybe they realise it may not be a competitive option for them. Their 5pm news is now a very distant 3rd across the hour.

10’s schedule tonight was modified from first advice to include Ready Steady Cook encore at 6pm pushing back the rest of the schedule by 30 minutes.

It’s interesting that FBI got 3 seasons but international & most wanted only got 1. Iirc last time when they all got renewed it was for 2 seasons.
Looks like CBS sees more values & trust with FBI compared to its 2 spin-offs

Why do u think ten Dosent run HYBPAand the cheap seats year round? Do you think it’s a matter of ten not being able to afford it or that working dog refuse to do it? Surely they can’t continue to run dead with procedurals in all their 8.30 slots next year? I know they weren’t huge hits but at least they used to have WILTY and hughesy in previous years. This year…nothing
I think we’re lucky to still have HBPA, been running now for many years and Working Dog are known to not run too long with their programs. Better this than milking it totally dry then it ending earlier out of tiredness.
