Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

Looking at the schedule posted in recent times it’s just Ambulance UK ‘rpts’ (so you’re right in that it’s repeats not encores) which screams IDFC from 10.

That’ll be the day. Meanwhile they’ve been airing some lately, for the first time too, but buried away at 11pm on 10 Bold. Strange.

Many of these will be on 10 or Paramount +

Deadline reports that a three-hour crossover premiere event featuring the new season launches of FBI and FBI Most Wanted, and spin-off FBI: International, will air on September 21 on CBS. It will be interesting to see how 10 will schedule the crossover, given 10 airs FBI and FBI: Most Wanted separately.

Most of these will end up on Prime over in New Zealand, also the sitcoms will seeing to Paramount+

Prime Video? or Prime the tv channel.

Yeah, the 9pm timeslot has been a big hit for Nine’s The Weakest Link.

The Weakest Link but I guess that show’s been one of the ‘biggest losers’ too so you have a point there :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’d love them to follow up with a 9:30pm or 10pm news each weeknight as well. They already have the Perth team in situ when that news finishes at 8:30pm aest. perhaps some creative rostering and a new producer could repurpose the content from 5pm bulletins. But maybe not easy as that.

I’m not sure that launching one show at 9.00pm signals any major strategic shift by Ten, and as mentioned already it ignored that Nine has already tried to crack the post-reality timeslot with The Weakest Link, with not a huge response.

I wouldn’t say that was an example of well executed TV… the slot is worth a shot, 10 have already demonstrated success with HYBPA and Gogglebox in later timeslots and given the fact they can’t and likely won’t ever compete with Seven/Nine between 6-7.30 they need to try capture audiences later into the evening - by and large 730 is pretty competitive across all networks. That leaves the 9pm slot.

They’ll probably need to get another presenter to do the late news given Narelda already does Studio 10 and Perth News at the same time.

But agree on the overall point that 10 could and should give the post 8.30 a bit more boost in addition to their current lineup of HYBPA, Gogglebox and The Cheap Seats.

So 10 and Nine are continuing with normal programs during Tokyo Olympic Games.

The synopsis kind of gives away the outcome of episode 3 this Tuesday:

You’d think 9:30 Friday would be a The Cheap Seats encore.
