Good to have The Graham Norton Show return to Friday nights.

A shame though with The Masked Singer repeats on Saturday nights. It didn’t work last week. Why would it work this week? Same thing happen when Nine repeated The Voice on Saturday nights over the years. It flopped.

I thought it aired on Friday’s in the UK, so unless we are getting it first here it makes a new ep hard to get this week.

New episodes air Sundays and that episode is repeated the following Friday.

No. Australia. And yes tomorrow is a repeat of last Sundays premiere.

They did the same thing last time they ran new episodes on a Sunday.

I don’t blame them for giving this another go. Its cheap, it aired last on GF day so it was a hard day for 10 anyway and it gives the show room to pick up extra viewers.

Even if it picks up an extra 50k viewers this week that is still less than 200k. Those kind of ratings should not be tolerated, not even on a Saturday on Ten.

But what difference does it make when shows were doing terribly in that slot anyway and whatever 10 put in there they are not going to attract advertising dollars. Not at least in the foreseeable future. Might as well use it to boost your biggest, most expensive brand.

New show Behind the Sash premieres on 10Peach on Saturday, October 26, and repeated on the main channel at 8am the next day. According to the show’s website, it is a documentary series developed to shine a light on issues of injustice affecting women and children in Australia and abroad, while searching for 10 women to compete for Mrs Australia.

The Sunday Herald Sun has an article on the show. The four former beauty queens involved in the search are Danielle McAlpine Johnson, Sofia Gilinas, Becky Branca and Jyselle Des Forges.

What a waste of the massive lead-in from Bathurst 1000 especially given its late finish this year.

They should be dropping The Project and launching The Amazing Race straight out of Bathurst.

10 should’ve just run Masked Singer Sun-Mon in this week to capitalise on the Bathurst lead-in and the special episode on Tuesday night IMO.

Sandwiching Amazing Race between the finale eps of of Masked Singer and pre-empting Sunday Project is not the answer.
