Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

I was wondering when the season was going to finish. Longer than usual I’m sure.

Ten tomorrow:
4:20am 10 News First Presents: ANZAC Day 2021
6:00am 10 News First Presents: ANZAC Day 2021
7.30am: Studio 10 highlights
10:00am 10 News First Presents: ANZAC Day 2021
12.20pm: Normal programming.

Glad that Ten is on board with the ANZAC Day services. And code them as a “Ten News First” branding. Have Ten done many of these services before for ANZAC Day?

Also, it’s a shame that “Studio 10 Highlights” is shoved in between. Would be nice once in a while for them to air a normal edition on the weekend - when there’s a special occasion, like ANZAC Day.

They’ve done some sort of coverage before mainly during studio10. Not sure if it’s been news branded.

I noticed the promo today it’s features Ita Buttrose, Angela Bishop and Gavin Grey.

Not surprising, it says they feature in the program in the press release.

@killy06 No not surprising at all but l thought l would mention it anyway :face_with_hand_over_mouth:as it didn’t feature everyone mentioned in the press release and l highlighted who it featured in the promo.
Also not surprising Sandra Sully did the voiceover for the promo.

Something better needs to follow HYBPA than a Graham Norton replay.

As for Saturday night, it does look a bit better. New episodes of The Dog House and The Savoy. An improvement on the schedule, which is good.

They should’ve had another season of Kinne Tonight, it seemed to do well following HYBPA.

I really don’t understand why 10 made this royal special.

I mean good to use the news department to create content and good that it’s new content but it’s just bizarre. There could’ve been better specials to make.

The same reason they made the 2020 retrospectives they aired a few weeks back, because it costs them nothing and fills an hour of primetime.

How come there is a Supertext and Closed Captions watermark, and two 10 logos?

Emma Dallimore is in one of those caps, 10’s former long-time US Bureau Chief (2009 - 2013/2014?) She then joined Seven’s bureau as a producer/reporter with then Mike Amor and Angela Cox, returning to Australia a few years later (but Sydney not Brisbane as previously in 2000s) as Sydney’s Deputy Director of News.

You can still hear her file voiced overseas reports from time to time, there was one the other day.
