###Barry Humphries Hosts The Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Great Debate

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Great Debate

Tonight 8.30pm

Network Ten is thrilled to announce that Australia’s most iconic comedian, Barry Humphries, will host the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 27th Annual Great Debate which will air on TEN tonight at 8.30pm.

The debate is an annual sell-out date on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival calendar and Barry will be responsible for wrangling two teams of unruly debating comics as they dispute this year’s contentious topic: “That Everyone’s Entitled To An Opinion”.

In the affirmative corner is one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians, Joel Creasey, alongside Legally Brown star Nazeem Hussain and the UK’s Sara Pascoe. Captaining the negative team will be last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival Best Newcomer nominee Tom Ballard, who will be joined by Kiwi Urzila Carlson and 2014 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Alex Edelman from the U.S.

Melbourne Town Hall plays host to this battle of the brains, as these local and international comedy heavyweights argue, rant, beg, cheat and steal to reign supreme in the debate that stops the nation.

CSI Cyber is back which means shockin monday shares again

Been waiting for this one! Can’t wait.

I think it will tank after one week and an SVU repeat will take the 8.30 slot.

I doubt it. It didn’t do too badly at 9.30pm last time around and did a lot better then what OJ Simpson is doing at 8.30pm. Besides it hasn’t got many eps left from season 2. It will have 5 eps left after this Monday coming.

You are right ten don’t mind getting under 300k at 8:30. Unbelievable that a network can stand for such low standards. I just don’t understand why a network would allow a primetime slot to get such a shocking share both in total people and key demographics.

Masterchef from 1 May

Scorpion will have Part 1 of 2 on April 30 with the part 2 the very next day. The People Vs O.J. Simpson will move to 8.30 due to the fact that Ten has Formula 1 live at 9.30pm

No one will care… All low rating content. I’m sure you and the other viewer that watches these programs will manage.
