Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

I thought Gogglebox was filler until Masterchef starts. :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome back!

One of Channel Ten’s favourite movies, is it not?

Yay! I missed it.

According to online guides, they have both been replaced by double new episodes of Modern Family. Could the comedy provide a better lead-in to Gogglebox than the factuals?
This Sunday’s MF is also double new episodes.
Also, tonight at 9.30pm, Ten will rush to air The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Special which was shown in the US this week.

Accidentally discovered this was on tonight when somebody told me there was a mention on Studio 10. Lack of promotion from Ten as usual.

I wonder if Ten are thinking of fast tracking The Odd Couple. Season 2 starts on CBS next week and it did relatively well - 550,000 in consolidated.

They didn’t play out the whole first season on TEN did they? I thought it was pulled after numbers dipped, then went to ONE… “Australia’s favourite new comedy” or something :smirk:

Such bullshit. They’ve got 3 channels. Surely it can fit on one of them.

I think the only time when it was on ONE was when it was an encore. The network aired 10 out of 12 eps last year.

Shark Tank set to return May 1

With Two First Season Episodes Still to air.

every show on Channel Ten is essentially filler until MasterChef starts

When does MasterChef usually start? Late April or Early May?

In that case, I’m sure that both Gogglebox and Shark Tank will be still running by the time that MasterChef is on!

###Barry Humphries Hosts The Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Great Debate

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Great Debate

Tonight 8.30pm

Network Ten is thrilled to announce that Australia’s most iconic comedian, Barry Humphries, will host the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 27th Annual Great Debate which will air on TEN tonight at 8.30pm.

The debate is an annual sell-out date on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival calendar and Barry will be responsible for wrangling two teams of unruly debating comics as they dispute this year’s contentious topic: “That Everyone’s Entitled To An Opinion”.

In the affirmative corner is one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians, Joel Creasey, alongside Legally Brown star Nazeem Hussain and the UK’s Sara Pascoe. Captaining the negative team will be last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival Best Newcomer nominee Tom Ballard, who will be joined by Kiwi Urzila Carlson and 2014 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Alex Edelman from the U.S.

Melbourne Town Hall plays host to this battle of the brains, as these local and international comedy heavyweights argue, rant, beg, cheat and steal to reign supreme in the debate that stops the nation.
