Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

I though that said Nock schedules for a moment…

I have to disagree about Ten’s attitude on the basis of one thing - the hiring on more journalists… Ten are looking to improve their position in the news market… Why else would you spend more on news resources if they weren’t looking to change things.

They aren’t looking at a quick fix, but more long term solutions… A 10 minute noodle update for those markets that lose their normal bulletin would suffice for some of their viewers for the time being

We think they’re new resources but we don’t know if people have left etc or are still working out their notice while replacements are appointed.

it could may well be replacements, as in 2 cities, 2 people have left the network. Aka Adam Hawse and Rebecca Munro.

A lot of freelancers are currently working around the country in the newsrooms as heaps of people have left Ten during administration period.

Bull returns at 7.30pm on January 14 and plus Wisdom of the Crowd returns at 8.30

Ten persisting with low rating content with the latter being axed by cbs anyway. I don’t really know why they bother.

May I suggest why they bother?

A lot of shows are returning Jan 28 / 29 so that leaves Ten needing 2 weeks of content on Sundays. If they show Bull for 2 weeks they will get the show fully in line with America. If they screen 2 double episodes of Wisdom of the Crowd that will complete the full 13 episode run and most likely the end of the series.

So why bother? Satisfy viewers with the completion of one show, get another up to date and have some new content to fill for 2 weeks.

Not the worst idea…

Ten Update as we start the new year:

  1. Now that Ten have got rid of the Fox output deal, the shows that were sitting on the shelf or not played out have reduced significantly.
  2. In fact the only 2 shows not played out in full now are Jane the Virgin with Eleven still to air the final 3 episodes of season 1 and also the Man with a Plan season one final did not air at the end of the year.
  3. The only show on the main channel that was part of the 2017 line-up that did not air (not including the ones now promoted for 2018) was a cancelled series called Doubt.
  4. The only show on Eleven that was part of the 2017 line-up that did not air was a called series called No Tomorrow.
  5. The third season of Zoo has yet to make an appearance on One.
  6. The final fifth season has not aired… I think. This is the only one I am not sure of. I am pretty sure season 5 has yet to air on One.

Season 5 of what?

My mistake - Ripper Street

Appeared on Netflix a week or so ago , does this mean anything?

Does this normally happen? Zoo part of CBS and CBS distribution so should still air on Ten

unless Ten passed on the first run rights… to save $$

Am hoping we’ll see a resolution to the 20th Television stalemate soon.

Not all programming from Fox was terminated, Ten are still airing their films from the Regency Enterprises back-catalogue deal.

Such a vacant space on the network at the moment, particularly Eleven.

Am conscious rival networks may be circling.

Couldn’t see this mentioned or posted anywhere, but first look at Seal Team coming soon which first aired on the 2nd Jan.
