Ten Network - Programs and Schedules (2015-Apr 2025)

“Bombshell” seems to be the go to word today to describe yesterday’s interview. :bomb: Perhaps Media Watch can do one of their montages.

Reshuffling this already dismal lineup will not help them :man_facepalming:t2:

How would Ten have received the show? Would there have been enough time for a file transfer (assuming it couldn’t be sent before the US transmission) or would it have been recorded down the line from a feed of CBS?

You would hope by the normal means of international tv distribution, for the most official and quality possible.

Not sure 10 would be satisfied paying hundreds of thousands of dollars, only to have to source and record a dirty feed themselves from here.

I saw a bit of the replay last night, and the picture probably speaks for itself

Easter With The Australian Women’s Weekly.

Premieres Saturday, 27 March At 6.30pm

It’s The (Other) Most Wonderful Time Of The Year.

Here at 10, we think Easter is one of the more underrated holidays. Mainly because of the chocolate and hot cross buns. And besides, Christmas was so last year.

On Saturday, March 27 at 6.30pm, Studio 10 ’s Sarah Harris and The Living Room ’s Barry Du Bois present Easter With The Australian Women’s Weekly , a seasonal special that will showcase everything from Easter styling ideas, fashion, and of course, delicious treats.

For those who are keen to entertain over the holiday break, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to recipe ideas with Poh Ling Yeow, Sarah Tiong and The Australian Women’s Weekly test kitchen team preparing party snacks that require minimal effort for maximum results.

We also go behind-the-scenes of the Easter issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly with MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo, who not only gives his tips for a fun Easter, he introduces the newest member of his family to the world. And we say g’day to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! ’s Toni Pearen, as she swaps her jungle gear for some glossy glam.

But that’s not all… with some bunny-inspired crafting and autumnal fashion inspiration, your Easter will be a hop in the park.

The Royal Fallout

Thursday 11 March 9:30 pm

In a week that has rocked the Royal Family like never before, we look beyond the headlines to untangle the real story and global reaction after Meghan and Harry’s explosive interview. Host Sarah Harris.

This should’ve happened on Monday night! Oh well.

Yes I can see how Monday would’ve been appropriate but I don’t think the networks and population would’ve thought it would have such an impact and controversy. Also to report on the fallout it would’ve needed UK reaction and it had not aired there at that time. Nine got it right with the Tuesday night special.

I think 10 has seen the ship sail with a Thursday special. But at least They’re producing prime time news content.

I have a feeling the story will still be going strong on Thursday.

Gogglebox should be a nice lead-in too, provided there’s any interest still left in the story.

But again SVU viewers are mucked around again with constantly changing timeslots.

Are there many of those though?

True. I too thought it’d do well, but not as well as it did.

NewsWeary really hit the nail on the head when he referred to previous major royal programming which has gone sky high here, add to media and social media at fever pitch throughout the day on Monday. Really should’ve seen those ratings coming.

All this bullshit about the CBS watermark is ridiculous. 10 is a subsidiary of ViacomCBS, they would’ve run whatever they were told to run and assuming they sourced it from a dirty feed is supposition at best.

I guarantee ITV paid quite a lot more as an outside and competing broadcaster. Like four or five times more.

Although social media didn’t really exist in 1995, the anticipation for the Oprah interview in mainstream media was similar to that in the lead up to the infamous Diana interview. It’s so rare for the Royals to expose themselves and be so candid. It was bound to attract viewers who wouldn’t normally be watching free to air. I thought older viewers would lap it up but was surprised younger generations were so interested.
