Ten Network & Paramount+ 2025

Exactly - a few years ago, I’m sure there were many who thought that the network would be on it’s last leg’s, and gone by the end of the decade.

Now, it looks like they are going to continue to be a player in the FTA landscape.

I wouldn’t say “thriving,” but I think they have the fight to be competitive with 9 and 7.

I doubt they will beat them (at least not without getting rights to a sport), but I would love them to be competitive.

Or at least get above the ABC

Why didn’t they reboot The Panel? Sam could have hosted it

Some things are better left in the past IMO, rather than trying to reboot it.

And it’s also nice to have new formats FTA these days instead of everything old pinged around to networks, or them trying to bring something back to life, but then somehow end up failing to live to expectations.

I’m sure Working Dog could make it work, but they seem to enjoy innovating new formats, and kudos to them (if they are doing Sam’s show that is).

Yeah but their company is very clique and only uses and reuses certain talent.

They’ve introduced Melanie Bracewell, Tim McDonald, Mel Tracina, Guy Montgomery and more to national audiences in recent years.

Well if I were ten I’d be handing the keys to the car to them. Let them pilot or test drive any idea they have to see if it has legs.
Surely a company like WD would just have ideators coming up with new concepts or scouring the world of TV to find ideas they can loosely adapt?

Are they rebranding to Paramount? Where’s the 10 logo in that group shot?

It’s the Paramount Australia Upfronts, it encompances all of their brands - 10, Paramount+ etc.

Don’t forget this is really for advertisers and media, who purchase across their entire ecosystem, whether they buy ad spots on linear broadcast, BVOD catch up, SVOD streaming etc.

This is a pretty impressive lineup in terms of numbers of personalities (and quite a few missing) how do the other networks compare?

That doesn’t include local sport and weather presenters , along with Neighbours, CSI Sydney and international talent form Paramount.

Your question is answered simply
How many can you put a name to ??
Maybe 1/2 to 2/3 for me.

Then do the same for the 7 & 9 cattle call pics and check the comparisons.

Only network that would have more would be ABC

In total?? I reckon there are 1 or 2 I cannot name. 10 is the only station I watch anymore and I don’t even watch it that much

10 has had an impressive line up in years gone by as well, and still come a distant third in the ratings. https://youtu.be/7Je8PqzOlMg?feature=shared

I’d probably only list 2/3 of the names in any of these network profile pics.
Unfortunately so many ‘network stars’ are just Sydney/Melbourne local talent that are not seen that much beyond those cities.
Currently the only shows on 10 that are appointment viewing for me are TGYH, HYBPA & CS.
Most of my tv viewing lately is on Bold & Peach.
The 10 network get most of my viewing time, just very little on 10.

I could name most of them, until the far right when it came to a few of the Inspired Unemployed boys and new Sharks on Shark Tank.

Not bad
