Ten Network 2020

I’m not saying resume this week and take the same measures they did, I said in the coming months. I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but an easing of restrictions is already happening and will continue to happen moving forward so it’s reasonable to theorize that they’ll be able to resume filming in the not too distant future.

It’s funny it’s such a negative on here. In my world that’s a job well done

No believe me, honey me too. But it was too jarring for a conversation about Ten scheduling to include that much innuendo.

interesting to note they are considering filming survivor here in Australia - great idea and good for the Australian economy.

And they seem committed to The Amazing Race. They are happy to do a quick turn around. Seems like 10 might just be short on Survivor this year but might be likely to return for Q1 next year.

Could easily be done in Queensland off an island somewhere.

I agree. And as I said it would be great for the Australian economy.

Wasnt TAR a quick turn around last year too?

The Channel 9 version did it off the coast of South Australia somewhere. (I think it was 2002)

Just pick a location from Friday’s tourism show. Pretty much anywhere could work. They just have to be careful about avoiding extreme weather and natural disasters  Who can forget the flood that hit the Australian Outback season.

It was. I think that was there point. It did feel a little rushed last year though.

They did. My Auntie didn’t live far from the location from what I remember. However, it wasn’t a great location.

I remember. The series was done on the cheap. They really need a tropical location for this show.

Of note in that article too was this:

There then could be something 10 has yet to announce before viewers get to see The Bachelor and The Bachelorette .

Queensland is tropical.

I wonder what that means. Could it just be the announcement of the new Bachelorette?

I don’t think so, considering it says before Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

Sounds like it could be a new show, hopefully something to break up the end of year Osher fest.

Just please don’t let it be hosted by Grant Denyer, Julia Morris, Dr Chris Brown, Beau Ryan etc.

I see. So it might not have anything to do with The Bachelor/ette format.

Anyone for The Circle?

If 10 considers that show then Natalie Bassingthwaighte would be a great choice for presenter, or Amanda Keller. Just steer away from Chris, Julia, Grant, Beau and Osher.

I think Amanda has become a bit over exposed as well to be honest.

But yes I too would love to see The Circle. But I just don’t think it will be that. I think it might be a bit hard to get that prepared before the end of the year. And I don’t think 10 would use a location here in Australia for that when an apartment with all the equipment is set up in the UK.

I have said this a lot but I think 10 should have a look at Come Dine With Me. No host is needed. Fits perfectly with the current restrictions and is advertiser friendly with supermarkets being the most friendly sponsor at the moment.

With DWTS and Living Room (which is apparently coming back soon), you do make a point.

Though I am a fan of Amanda as a presenter so that might be why I would like her to be in contention to host such a show. I’m fairly indifferent about the others mentioned.

But yes, new talent would be great.

Three cooking-related shows a year on 10 is too much I think.
