Ten Cricket Coverage

Andrew Symonds, Mark Howard, Mark Waugh, Lisa Sthelakar and perhaps Kevin Pietersen will be available during the fortnight.

Didn’t they also sign Michael Vaughan and some other guy who’s name escapes me.

There’s a largish gap between sydney and Melbourne tests so we will hear those guys from Dec 31-Jan 3/4

Its about 10 posts up. His name is Graeme Swann

You’ll never guess who Vaughan and Swann work for?

BT Sport

I guess that means that they will do what Beefy did in the last Ashes on home soil

Doubt the three will disappear from the BBL coverage entirely. Think both Fleming and Mark Howard juggled BBL with their radio commentary commitments last Summer during the Melbourne & Sydney tests

Fairfax reports Michael Vaughan and Graeme Swann will each commentate three BBL matches, with Kevin Pietersen calling two games when he is not playing for the Melbourne Stars. However, since Pietersen will be miked up for each of his matches with the Stars, it will be interesting to see whether he will speak to his former England teammates, after Pietersen and Swann fell out in the aftermath of England’s 5-0 loss in the 2013-14 Ashes.

Is Ten showing Crash the Bash again this year, as it lists Nickelodeon but not Ten on the press release yesterday.

Ten’s coverage of BBL and WBBL matches will be streamed live on selected Qantas domestic flights this summer, as part of the airline’s partnership with Cricket Australia. Live streaming is available on 15 737-800 planes with Wi-Fi capability with more planes to come onboard.

Fire up the barbeques, the countdown to the highly anticipated KFC Big Bash League and Rebel Women’s Big Bash League is officially on. The teams, commentators and fans are gearing up for another sizzling summer of explosive T20 cricket – live, free and exclusive on Network Ten and WIN Network.

The KFC Big Bash League returns on Tuesday, 19 December 2017, and a bumper schedule will see 43 matches played in 48 days, including six double-headers. With all 43 matches to be broadcast in prime time, live and exclusive on TEN and ONE, fans will not miss a minute of the action.

The KFC Big Bash League competition will also venture to new venues in Launceston, Geelong, Canberra and Alice Springs for the 2017-18 season.

The best commentary team in the business is back, led by multi-award nominated presenter Roz Kelly with cricket royalty Adam Gilchrist AM, Ricky Ponting AO, Mark Waugh AM and Damien Fleming, plus Mark Howard, Lisa Sthalekar and Mel Jones.

For the first time, British cricketing legends Michael Vaughan OBE and Graeme Swann join Network Ten’s expert line-up as special guest commentators for a number of games. Australian cricket legend Andrew Symonds, current Australian cricket team coach Darren Lehmann, former New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum and crowd favourite Kevin Pietersen all return to the commentary team this summer.

The Rebel Women’s Big Bash League will see Australian greats Mel Jones and Lisa Sthalekar return to the commentary box with TEN Sport’s Andy Maher for 12 matches, including the final, to be broadcast live and exclusive on TEN or ONE (with 10 of the matches broadcast on TEN).

Following the hugely successful inaugural season launch last year, the summer schedule will again kick off with a Rebel Women’s Big Bash League carnival at North Sydney Oval on Saturday 9 December and Sunday 10 December. Network Ten will broadcast four matches live across this weekend, including the prime-time match between reigning premiers the Sydney Sixers and the Melbourne Stars.

I hear reports that Roger Oldridge will be part of the BBL07 commentary team for this summer.

Hopefully not doing play-by-play.

He usually is, isn’t he?

Edit: Just looked, he’s formerly been a boundary commentator.

where did you find this information from?

It’s listed on his twitter account bio and I’ve seen him at Brisbane matches before, not sure about interstate.

Sydney sixers hit 4/242 which is the highest ever score in a womens T20 game, and in BBL history.

Look’s like they’ve laid a road in the middle of north sydney oval.
