I had that before as well. Rare one for Google!

Amaysim’s new ad boasting how they don’t spend money on celebrity ambassadors is ironic considering they were running a campaign with David Hasselhoff 10 years ago.

Unsurprising tbh

Saw the new icons on my work Google AC, but the Drive icon is a bit different for some reason /j

I keep opening Google Drive thinking it’s Google Maps (since you use a map to help you drive).

I’d rather Google rename Drive to Files or something else.

Or is it just me that thinks like this!?

Just you. I’d blame your advanced age for it though.

Also the Drive logo looks a lot like the Woolmark logo. Incoming lawsuit?

Well, that explains why Gmail looks slightly different now,

A blatant rip-off.

Google has rolled out a fix for first-generation Chromecast devices after thousands of users worldwide reported the 13-year-old streaming dongles had suddenly stopped working.

Owners of the original 2013 Chromecast complained that popular apps including YouTube, HBO Max and Paramount+ either failed to detect the device or could no longer stream content.

Good that they put in a fix but the question is how long is a reasonable time to keep supporting said devices? 13 years is a long time.

I would expect a minimum of 7 years, 10 years is great, 13 is out of this world.

I’m surprised those devices haven’t already carked it.

Good news from your friend in mocking:
