Taskmaster Australia

Sydney’s Cockatoo Island was used as a filming location for the first time in the show’s history. Normally tasks are shot at the Taskmaster Retreat in New Zealand.

No sign of anything other than NZ at the 2 eps I saw for S5 though

I was referring to Cockatoo Island as a filming location for season 4 which began last night.

In the first episode of season 4 it just looked like the regular Taskmaster retreat outdoors. Indoor segments did look like they changed the room or it’s a different location.

The promos for upcoming episodes show a giant warehouse which must be Cockatoo Island.

Aware of that, and just pointing out that I mentioned this back in September. Also saying I don’t think they’ve used it for Season 5

Correct. They also used some outdoor areas too. There’s a task I’ve seen screenshotted above where they basically have to avoid being waterbombed by Tom from over/outside the wall

From that article … with Tom listing the contestants -

“Then there’s Tim Warner . I mean, I used to watch him open, like, 20 years ago.”

 ??

BTW Brett Blake apparently hadn’t seen or knew much about the show before doing it

Emma was on The Cheap Seats tonight where she showed off the Taskmaster trophy. Not to be outdone, Melanie Bracewell also brought out the Taskmaster NZ trophy she won in season 4 in 2023, which is moulded in the shape of the head of Kiwi host Jeremy Wells.

Just two @TaskMasterAU / #TaskmasterNZ champions and their shiny heads! The trophies are shiny. The people look amazing. #taskmaster #winners pic.twitter.com/AiSNUK0MNg
