Yes, it’s enjoyable. Great line up.
I still think they could add the Boomers back into the show.
Its also worth noting that Carry is also a Gen X (just).

The first segment was a bit slow, but have been liking the following segments.
Anne saves it a lot I think.
I initially tuned in only expecting to watch the start, but I’m still watching it. I absolutely loved the original Shaun version on Channel 10 and had low expectations but this is pretty decent.
A good panel as well.
It’s always a lot harder for the younger generations to compete.
Gen Y (Millennials) use to always struggle on the original version but now it’s Gen Z. Life experience brings more knowledge.
Anne Edmonds was a good choice for host.
I was expecting End Game like the previous iteration. A bit disappointed there wasn’t.
I feel tonight’s premiere was OK, some funny parts but sadly no End Game.
Tonight’s special guest was Nikki Webster, who hid in a ball pit, and teams had to guess her identity. I wonder if her episode was shown first, as this week marked 25 years since the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony.
I read a review somewhere and it said Ep2 is better than ep1.
I didn’t mind it. I was watching while I was planning a holiday on my laptop. Good background viewing.
Adding a fourth team would mean they’d need to add another solo “Magic Window” round and likely cut out much more of the banter that makes the show what it is
Maybe have a special round where they have to take on a Boomer celebrity.
Even better that show ran for an hour and that’s it. Not some weird 73 minute show. Started on the half hour and finished on the half hour. If only all show could run an on the hour or half hour schedule.
Episode 2 is much funnier! Stay tuned
Enjoyed the show, would come back, all in all not bad from 10
Tuesday 23 September
Anne Edmonds pits generations against each other to find out which is best (for this week). Gen X Dave Hughes & Rove McManus, Gen Y Tommy Little & Miranda Tapsell. Gen Z Anisa Nandaula & Callum Hole.
It’s pretty good and they are using Anne to play to her strengths (the Ya Mum! game is gold), but I feel like it’s just missing that “something” compared to the old versions of the show.
Maybe it’s first ep nerves and the cast will gel a bit, or maybe the games need to be bigger and sillier.
Noticed that Nine still have their version of the show up on YouTube.
Talkin’ 'Bout Your Generation - YouTube
Having her participate in a game of her own was a nice surprise, and it helps give this version its own little flair from the original.
Overall, a fun first episode! Looking forward to what’s next.
When I got through segment 1 I was worried. Very dull and unfunny intro. I think Anne worked well in the games later on though and I did enjoy a few chuckles. I think she’s good value.
It is a shame to see how low budget TV is these days. I remember an episode of the original where Hughesy and Todd McKenney were both guests and got to build massive Amish barns outside for the end game. In this version they get to hug a guy in a rat costume.
The new theme and opener is very lame and simple. Disappointing as the original theme and even the rebooted Channel 9 version were better than this.
If I was 10 I would have demanded the first 10 minutes be reshot. That would have put a lot of viewers off.
