Will this make Karrinyup the largest in Perth, ahead of Carousel?
Second biggest.
I dont think the deal will get approval
Ampol has a separate agreement with Woolworths, hence you can pick up EDR points at the company owned non-EG Caltex/Ampol sites, as well as redeem the WW 4c discount at 200 participating locations (including the Ampol WW Metro locations).
Ampol also has another agreement with the former Woolworths Caltex business (currently owned and operated by EG).
Ampol are currently in court with EG over the agreement between EG and Ampol, although it was also reported that EG could sign up an agreement with Chevron a.k.a Caltex USA (instead of exiting the Australian market) if they are able to get the courts to void their agreement with Ampol.
Cockburn plans to redevelop once the Armadale Road, Beeliar Drive and North Lake Road upgrades are completed.
Vicinity wonât put the money up to redevelop Galleria Morley.
Scentre havenât committed to Booragoon at this stage. I think Scentre should sell Innaloo and invest more into Booragoon. The Westfield Stirling plans for Innaloo were massively ambitious given Karrinyup is only 4km away.
The big 4 in Perth used to be Carousel, Morley, Garden City and Karrinyup. Now itâs Carousel, Karrinyup, Joondalup and Garden City. Just outside the big 4, honourable mentions to Midland Gate and Cockburn.
Whatâs the issue with Morley?
Vicinity canât afford major redevelopment of any property when they lost a couple billion dollars last year. Not specific to Morley.
They might go ahead wtih Box Hill, but thatâs because they can sell high rise apartments and integration with the SRL
Ahh makes sense. Shame, it really needs it.
Broadmeadows Central in Melbourneâs North needs a redevelopment by Vicinity. In fact, just bulldoze the place and start again. Might be cheaper that way.
I think the Bigw left in that mall. Anything replaced it? Must be about half dozen Bigw sites still unoccupied.
I donât know. I try to avoid that centre at all cost when Iâm in the area.
I felt safer in the malls throughout some of the dodgy areas of LA vs Broady.
Eddie Everywhere would like to have a word with you.
Somehow, Iâm going to guess that the Melbourne-based Media Spy members who feel uncomfortable at Broadmeadows Central probably wonât ever want to visit Bankstown Central (located in the suburb which seems to be our equivalent of Broadmeadows) in South Western SydneyâŚ
I see Event Cinemas are renovating the Innaloo cinemas. I believe a new cinema building was a part of the original Westfield Stirling plans.
Logan/Bankstown/Broadmeadows.
Whatâs the Adelaide and Perth equivalent?
I feel uncomfortable about this sort of profiling. Iâve been to Bankstown recently and I donât think thereâs anything unsafe about that shopping centre.
