And I like prawns.
Preferably garlic… Though I go OK in cocktails too, with lots of seafood sauce
https://2smsupernetwork.com/fm-network/ suggests they had their own domain - must be a bit costly to renew the domain name
That still works too - other sites like nowfm are down, but their http://www.fm1003.com.au/ works - their site header even references [at]neb2ad.com.au emails - assuming those work, you’d think they’d be able to just make some extra ones for the other staff to use.
Again though - if this is cost, they should just bring it all in under the one roof - then you’d have salesfm1003[at]supernetwork.com.au or something, and just have one mail server set up.
Well I’m guessing Telstra will no longer choose to advertise on BOG FM stations after that remark.
Yeah most stations have their own associated email addresses but there has been lots of issues going in on with Telstra behind the scenes. When I was in Australia there was rarely a day that went by when either me or the manager at 4WK was ringing up Telstra support about issues with either IP or email faults within the network. After awhile it is better and more reliable to simply use a consumer grade email platform such as Gmail… I know myself that the tech email I had and still do have I can receive emails but can’t send emails out, this fault has been like this for almost 12 months and Telstra can’t work out the fault
Any commercial radio station using default Telstra (Bigpond) address or using Gmail or free clients like that for their official email address is just abhorrent.
Considering it costs next to nothing to set up a forwarded domain email that can go to a free email address like gmail.
Does the AM Heritage Stations including 2SM Play any Music?
Yes.
Not to mention it smacks of unprofessionalism.
I did some poking around the interwebs and found streaming links for:
NEW FM: http://144.140.228.109:6470/index.html?sid=2
2HD: http://144.140.228.109:6470/index.html?sid=3
and of all things Dance Super Digi: http://144.140.228.109:6470/index.html?sid=1
Even though none of these links are linked from their websites…
Thats because they are not meant for public use. They are used internally
And if we all start using them @TheChase, their data cost will increase and they’ll reassign them or simply switch off.
With a listener peak of 18!
That’s more than some self-proclaimed popular YouTube, Twitter and Facebook live streams I’ve seen.
Don’t know about that, I found the link from a listing on My-Tuner 1SM | Listen Online - myTuner Radio
Interesting that the listing still says “1SM” - not sure if “Dance Super Digi” was ever called 1SM in the past…
I know of other stations that put their internal test streams behind a VPN, which makes it almost impossible for others to accidentally stumble across them - it would be handy for the tech having a stream there ready to go to remotely check-in on things, or if NEW decide to persue public streaming in the future.
1SM was a short lived digital station that played mostly 60s music (I think) and doesn’t have any direct relationship to any other 2SM digital stations (other than being operated by the same network).
According to their latest program guide 2BS-FM now only “take Talkin’ Sport” between 6-7pm.
Someone needs to tell them that Talkin Sport wraps up at 6pm and it is Sportsday NSW from 6pm weeknights.
… So that leaves John Laws as the only BOG networked show on 2BS-FM. Again, for how much longer? …
They’re not taking a Takin’ Sport edited highlights package are they…oh wait…nah you’re right it’s proabably just a misprint!
