Poor old hamster at 2el must have carked it ,back up tape on breaks all weekend. Same tracks for at least 15 years. Would it really be that hard to change it once a year? Seeing it’s used so much. Hopefully the FM push is coming soon or they can figure out how to put stereo into mono because songs like California dreamin and loves theme that brent bultitude uses sounds only two thirds there.

I reckon if 2EL goes FM, there’s a good chance they’ll switch to the FM Super Network format (thus similar to ZOO FM Dubbo etc).
Ashford was filmed by several people in the audience as they went onto the stage after 2HD presenter Cheralyn Darcey won an award. Darcey hosts The Nightline on 2HD from 8pm to midnight.

Yeah the days of that sorta bullshit in media are long gone, quite stupid to even attempt something like that these days when everyone has a phone capable of recording and almost everyone has social media to post it to the world

Great news! Do you know if 2RE is coming soon too?
I miss the radio station bumper stickers. Pretty easy and cheap way to get the word out. Stations don’t do much in the way of cheap promo tat anymore. Nova’s probably the only ones who do it to the extent that I’d consider good.
Especially when it goes saggy. My ex-sister in law is about to find that out the hard way. 
Grabbing someone’s arse was never acceptable, anywhere, media or otherwise. Even more so now with phones everywhere…

yeah wasn’t saying it was acceptable but sadly it did happen, just didn’t have the ability for people to be able to record it when it went on
Newcastle Herald has a short video up of the incident.
A quarter of the SRN stations are now streaming. It’s a positive move and hopefully all of them will be streaming eventually.

The audio quality isn’t bad on 2MG. It is my go to safe classic hits station along with Fun Superdigi in the car (that isn’t streaming either). It feels like the late 90s again, like wow, radio stations are now streaming!!! Crank up the Real Player again!! I am back in my early 20’s again yessssss…

Another visit to the Sunshine Coast. And 4GY on FM in Noosa doesn’t disappoint. This time round it’s not squiggly effects and noise. Just total dead air.
