I think said this a while back…am I the insider?
It’s highly likely as all the other female presenters have other roles, ie 6pm weather, Weekend Sunrise etc.
And with Samantha Brett still on her sabbatical, Amber Laidler on maternity leave, Gemma Acton on maternity leave…they’re low on options. I’d say they’ll rotate Angie Asimus and Sally Bowrey, with Monique filling in any gaps.
Rebecca Maddern is highly unlikely to move to Sydney to fill a maternity spot after just being appointed to Melbourne.

To be fair, I only saw this article after it was posted on the Today thread. I’d argue that some people would find the article interesting - you’re not being forced to read it.
Okay, the bit about Karl is probably rubbish, but the stuff about Eddy/Sunrise sounds accurate enough.

Possibly a mistake or just the second weekend. The detailed schedule for the weekend of 5/6 February has Weekend Sunrise starting at 7am in all markets.
